Assistance Mission for Africa (AMA) is a faith-based, NGO.
It was founded in 2002 and registered with South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) and with NGO Bureau and NGOs Council in Nairobi Kenya.
AMA’s vision is a free, just, self-actualizing and dignified society.

Livelihood Programs: We Support the delivery of relief for IDPs and host communities through:
Peace and Protection Programs: We Support Peace-building, and the provision of forums for dialogue through the following projects: Portals to Peace, Action Plan for Peace, Extractive.
Social Justice Programs: NAP-1325, Our Plan Our Future, Women of Power Groups, Beam of Hope, Women of Peace Groups, VISTAS Project.
Natural Resource Management : We Support the dissemination of the petroleum Act and the petroleum management Act and Environmental Act, Publish What You Pay,
Our Team
90% of our staff come from South Sudan. Our national staff speak the local language and share the cultural values and aspirations of the communities. The rest of our staff come from the East African region e.g. Kenya and Uganda.
